1st June - Businesses in Ipswich Benefit from Labour’s Great British Summer Savings Scheme

1 min read

I visited businesses in the Buttermarket Ipswich to talk about our Labour Government's Great British Summer Savings.

Thanks to a temporary cut to VAT on a range of activities, families in Ipswich will pay less for children’s meals, kid’s tickets to cinemas and theatres and entry to attractions like soft play, adventure centres, and theme parks from 25 June to 1 September.

Children aged 5-15 will be able to travel free on local bus services in August too!

It'll mean businesses will see a boost to the number of people coming through their doors, while families will enjoy a great day out for less.
