13th February – Jack Abbott MP welcomes IBC support for Greater Ipswich Council

On 13th of February, I was pleased to see Ipswich Borough Council vote unanimously in favour of a Greater Ipswich Council, as part of the Government’s ambitious devolution proposals. It is encouraging to see party politics put aside in favour of our town’s best interests.

I have been unapologetic about the great opportunities that devolution offers our town and our county, and I will continue to work at a local and a national level to ensure Ipswich gets our fair share.
