On 15th November, I met the team from Union Romani Voice, here in Ipswich. They do great work in our town in fighting against discrimination, celebrating Romani arts and culture, and standing up for the Roma community in Suffolk and beyond.
As well as working alongside public services and other charitable organisations, they provide invaluable help to over 500 people every year. It was heartening to hear that they have been awarded £345,000 by the National Lottery to continue their fantastic work in Ipswich and the surrounding area.
