This is really welcome news: nearly 60 much needed specialist school places are being created in Ipswich.
The Bridge School, which currently educates nearly 200 children and young people in our town, has had 57 new places approved by the Government.
This comes in a week where we had the positive announcement that the Government will be providing Suffolk with £5.1 million through the new ‘Experts at Hand’ service.
This will mean children with SEND will receive earlier support and faster access to specialist services, so no child is left waiting while their needs go unmet.
