19th January - Jack Welcomes Government Announcement that Councils will have Increased Powers to Stop Pavement Parking

People in Ipswich often talk to me about the frustration they have with pavement parking.

It makes it difficult for people to get around safely. Wheelchair users, people who are visually impaired, or parents with a child in a pushchair shouldn't be forced out into the road because of inconsiderate parking.

That's why I'm pleased our Government is giving local councils the powers they need to tackle it.
