1st January : Meeting Commuters Benefiting from the Rail Price Freeze

This morning I had an early (and chilly!) start to the day at Ipswich train station. 

I was speaking to people about our Government’s rail freeze announced in the Budget – the first for 30 years. 

All regulated rail fares will be frozen, meaning an Ipswich-London season ticket holder will save £500 this year. 

That is a difference a Labour Government makes.
