22nd August- Summer Schoolers Visit Sizewell C

I’m really grateful to Nigel and the Sizewell C team for welcoming my Summer School cohort for an incredible day of learning and inspiration.

The students heard directly from Nigel about his own journey from apprentice to Joint Managing Director, and took part in workshops on skills, sustainability, and the future of clean energy. They also toured the site offices to see first-hand how one of the biggest infrastructure projects in the country is being delivered right here in Suffolk.

As I’ve said before, Sizewell C is about power, but it’s also about people — and this visit showed how we can connect ambition and opportunity.

It was a fantastic experience for everyone involved, and a brilliant example of how we can open doors for the next generation.
