30 June - Labour Publishes Draft Law to Ban Conversion Practices

Earlier this year, I spoke in Parliament calling on the Government to put an end to conversion therapy, a terrible practice that is dangerous, widely discredited and barbaric.

I am delighted that now our Labour Government has published a draft law that will ban conversion practices, that end is now in sight.

I know many people in Ipswich and across our country have been waiting for this moment. This has been a long time coming, but we are legislating to put a stop to this appalling abuse.
