Jack Abbott MP joined business leaders, councillors, and community figures to officially launch Sip'Swich — a new initiative celebrating Ipswich’s pubs and bars through two exciting trails: one historic, and one dog-friendly.
The launch event, held at Briarbank Brewery, brought together local figures including Reverend Tom Mumford, council leaders, and local business owners to support the six-week campaign. Fifteen indepen
dent venues are taking part, encouraging people to explore Ipswich’s vibrant hospitality scene.
Participants can collect stamps at each stop for the chance to win prizes like collectable enamel pin badges, reusable coffee cups, and even dog bandanas for their four-legged companions.
Jack said: “This is a brilliant initiative that shines a spotlight on our town’s pubs and independent hospitality businesses. It’s a fun way to support the local economy, discover new places, and bring the community together.”
The Sip'Swich trails run for six weeks — don’t miss your chance to get involved!
