9th January – Jack Abbott MP pushes for Suffolk devolution fast track bid

On 9th January, I voiced my support for Suffolk County Council’s bid to join the Government’s devolution fast-track scheme.

Across the country, we have seen success stories when power and resources are put in the hands of local people. That is why, alongside an East Anglia Mayor, I am working to deliver a Greater Ipswich Council- which is, I believe, is the best feasible option to give us the proper focus, pulling power, and autonomy to shape our own future and turbocharge economic growth and opportunity.
