19th July - Jack Abbott Visits Nawracy Mosque to offer Support and Solidarity

Following the threat to the Ijtima event at Shrubland Hall, I visited Nawracy Mosque, Ipswich Mosque and Shahjalal Islamic Centre and Masjid to offer my support and solidarity.

I'm grateful that Suffolk Constabulary's Assistant Chief Constable, Alice Scott, joined me. I reiterate my thanks for their work which undoubtedly saved lives.

I know this incident has caused concern and sadness in our town, but we stand together with our friends and neighbours.
