I am delighted that our Government's £8 million package will mean over 30,000 more people in Suffolk and Norfolk will benefit from NHS support to manage obesity.
For too long, people in Ipswich and Suffolk have struggled to access the support they need to manage obesity, often facing long waits or complicated pathways into care.
This investment from our Labour Government will make a real difference by giving more people faster access to the right support, closer to home, while making better use of new technology to improve patient care.
Personalised support, whether that's digital advice, behavioural and lifestyle support, specialist treatment or clinically appropriate obesity care, will make a real difference.
