5th June - Jack Abbott Flys the Flag for Ipswich at Investment and Infrastructure Conference

Last month, I was at UKREiiF, the UK's leading investment and infrastructure conference, flying the flag for Ipswich, Suffolk and the East of England.

This included championing Invest East's Investment Prospectus, a £5.5 billion package of regeneration projects across our region.

As well as the Portman Road site in Ipswich, these developments will help rejuvenate places like Stevenage, Watford, Norwich, and Great Yarmouth, create good jobs for local people, and provide a massive boost for local businesses.

I also spoke to a number of businesses and organisations about their future plans, and to set out the case for investing in our area.

Over the last two years we have seen a huge increase in investment into our region, but I will keep fighting for even more.
