For a long time, the East of England was overlooked when it came to major infrastructure and investment decisions.

With Sizewell C, Universal UK, East West Rail, the Lower Thames Crossing and airport expansion, that is rapidly changing.

There is more to do - and I will keep fighting for greater investment in our region - but we are finally heading in the right direction under this Labour Government
