Another special Brighten The Corners weekend.

2 days. 7 venues. 70+ acts.

Sun. Music. Joy (and a few Suffolk beers too).

Ipswich's music scene is exploding, with people coming from all over to soak it in.

Our venues each have such character: from the up-close-and-personal Smokehouse, to the sunshine of the Cornhill, and from the low-lying ceilings of the Baths to the almost ethereal St Stephen's. Ipswich's multi-venue festival really is like no other.

As well as attracting some of the UK's best artists, I love that BTC platforms some of our best local talent too. Particular shout out to Ipswich bands, the Bungees and Dream Houses, who played on the Cornhill on Saturday afternoon. Looking forward to seeing where you go next.

To Joe, Marcus and every single person who made it happen - thank you. We are so proud that our town hosts this festival which gets bigger and better every year.

Roll on #BTC2026!

(Don't forget, as well as organising this wonderful festival, the team behind Brighten the Corners host gigs all year round.
