23rd February – Jack Abbott MP pushes for ambitious devolution settlement

On 23rd February, I highlighted the fact that very few people in our county think that the status quo of local government is acceptable- and that’s why the Government is so committed to changing it with a new, ambitious devolution settlement.

Devolution offers us an opportunity we must be bold enough to grasp. That means that I will be continuing to push for a strong Greater Ipswich council, alongside our neighbours in East and West Suffolk.
