24th May – Jack Abbott Attends UKREiiF

This week, Jack Abbott attended UKREiiF—one of the UK’s largest investment conferences—to champion a landmark £100 million vision for Ipswich.

The proposed Portman Road Redevelopment would bring transformative benefits to the town: a brand-new, state-of-the-art aquatics centre, a 4-star hotel, and a 750-space multi-storey car park. Th

e project would also create the conditions for Ipswich Town Football Club to expand its stadium when the time is right.

Jack said:

“I promised leadership and ambition—and that’s what I’m delivering. With the right backing, this project will reshape a major part of our town and unlock long-term economic growth. It’s about building a greater Ipswich.”

The MP is continuing to meet with key partners to drive support and ensure the town doesn’t miss out on this once-in-a-generation opportunity.
