31st January – Jack Abbott MP on devolution opportunities

On 31st January, I spoke to BBC Radio Suffolk about the opportunities that devolution offers us here in Ipswich and Suffolk. Right across the country- from West Yorkshire to Greater Manchester- we have seen some real success stories when power and resources are put in the hands of local people.

Alongside an East Anglian Mayor, I am working to deliver a Greater Ipswich Council which, under the right settlement, could really help to turbocharge economic growth, protect our county’s shared heritage alongside our friends in East and West Suffolk, and deliver a prosperous future for our town.
